Is The Military Blacklisting Christians?

by Janna Brock Christians are under assault. For all most Americans know, there is still freedom of religion, guaranteed by the First Amendment. This is a lie. For there is no longer freedom of religion, as the very ones put in position to protect liberty aim to take it away. Christians are the enemy, the blacklisted bigots.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the definition of the world “blacklist” means, “A list of persons who are disapproved of or are to be punished or boycotted.” This couldn’t be more spot on.
It is no coincidence that NBC’s new fall television show “The Blacklist,” starring James Spader, is about a group of FBI agents who work with a known criminal to bring down other terrorists. This is what the military, through the hostile Obama Administration, has been instructed to do. To deliberately and purposely target Christians in various organizations, as well as Christians within their own ranks.
Fox News’s Todd Starnes reported on October 14, 2013, that the military labeled the American Family Association a “domestic hate group.” In other words, the AFA was put in the same category as known domestic terror groups including the Klu Klux Klan, The Black Panthers, and Neo-Nazis. These are legitimate hate groups. For these groups have committed heinous crimes, murders, and other atrocities that have effected millions of people.
The only crime the AFA committed is standing firm for traditional Christian family values. Founded in 1977, the AFA has steadfastly stood up to tyrannical homosexual activists in their dogged pursuit of redefining marriage, of refashioning the natural laws of God and man. And for this they have been targeted by the highest officials in the land.
On October 16, 2013, the Pentagon fired back, saying they do not consider the AFA a “hate group.” But no sooner than October 23rd, Todd Starnes reported on Fox News that in a pre-deployment briefing at Ft. Hood in Texas, the very scene of the shooting massacre by Islamist Nadal Hasan in 2009, that soldiers were instructed to consider Tea Party Conservatives and Christians as “threats to the nation.” Not one mention was made of the Islamic threat to American society.
So which is it? This intensified rhetoric suggests that Pentagon officials are merely paying lip service to the masses, but blacklisting Christians in secret. They can’t come out and say that Christians are the enemy, but they can surely present material to military personnel, many of them evangelical Christians, to target members of the Tea Party. And by in large, Tea Party members are conservative Christians.
Again, as if on cue, the Pentagon backed off. On October 24th, Starnes quoted Army Secretary John McHugh on Fox as saying, “On several occasions over the past few months, media accounts have highlighted instances of Army instructors supplementing programs of instruction and including information or material that is inaccurate, objectionable and otherwise inconsistent with current Army policy.”
Again, this is merely a deflection, meant to distract the masses from the truth. The Obama Administration is targeting Christians. On October 31, 2013, Todd Starnes again came out with a shocking report that in a training manual, military personnel were presented with information, created by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI), that stated that “white, Christian, heterosexual males” have all the advantages of social privilege. Not just in civilian society, but in the military.
And here is the proof that there is a blacklist. All non-Christians can rally around their hatred for Christians regardless of their other preferences. The disdain for the name of Jesus Christ outweighs any other conflict of interest.
One cannot create a secular military with active and open Christians serving. As society moves further away from Christianity, active Christians become the enemy. Perhaps the most openly hostile expression of Christian resentment was reported to Todd Starnes on November 11, 2013, the day Americans celebrate Veterans Day. Starnes reported on Fox News that two Baptist Chaplains were removed from a Veterans Affairs chaplain training program for “refusing to stop quoting the Bible and to stop praying in the name of Jesus.”
